These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the agreement between Polished Pearl Cleaning (“we”, “us”, “our”, or “the Service Provider”) and you (“the Client”) for the provision of residential and commercial cleaning services.

By booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services Provided

Polished Pearl Cleaning offers professional residential and commercial cleaning services within Clevedon, UK, and surrounding areas. Services can be booked as a one-off appointment or on a recurring basis. The service frequency, scope, and pricing will be agreed upon at the time of booking.

2. Bookings

  • Bookings can be made via phone, email, or our website.
  • A booking is only confirmed once you receive written or electronic confirmation from us.
  • For recurring services, we will agree on your preferred schedule at the time of booking.

3. Payments

3.1 Payment Method

  • We currently accept bank transfer only.

3.2 Payment Timing

  • Full payment is required at least 48 hours before each scheduled appointment.
  • Services will not be provided if payment has not been received by this time.

3.3 Late Payments

  • Failure to pay by the 48-hour deadline may result in the appointment being cancelled.
  • Future appointments may also be suspended until payment is received.

4. Recurring Services

  • Recurring appointments will continue on a rolling basis until cancelled by either party.
  • Clients may cancel recurring services by providing at least 48 hours’ written notice.
  • We reserve the right to adjust pricing for recurring services with 30 days’ notice.
  • If a scheduled appointment falls on a bank holiday, we will contact you to arrange an alternative date.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment.
  • Appointments cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled time will be charged at 100% of the service fee.

6. Client Responsibilities

  • Ensure we have safe and reasonable access to the property at the agreed time.
  • Secure and remove any valuable, fragile, or personal items if desired.
  • Inform us of any special cleaning requirements, hazards, or restrictions in advance.
  • Provide access to electricity, running water, and any agreed cleaning supplies if applicable.

7. Service Limitations

We will always aim to deliver services to the highest standard, but we cannot be held responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage to furniture, flooring, or fixtures
  • Stains or marks that cannot be removed with reasonable cleaning methods
  • Any damage caused by incorrect or undisclosed information provided by the Client

8. Liability & Insurance

  • We carry appropriate public liability insurance for your protection.
  • Our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the total amount paid for the specific booking.
  • We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including loss of earnings or business.

9. Health & Safety

  • We comply with UK health and safety regulations and take necessary precautions to protect both our staff and your property.
  • Hazardous materials (e.g., mould, asbestos, or biohazards) must be disclosed in advance.

10. Complaints

  • If you are unhappy with our service, please contact us within 24 hours of the appointment.
  • We will investigate and, if appropriate, arrange a re-clean or partial refund.
  • All complaints must be submitted in writing via email to info@polishedpearlcleaning.co.uk

11. Automatic Renewal

  • Unless otherwise agreed, recurring services automatically continue on a rolling basis.
  • You may cancel by giving notice in accordance with Section 4.

12. Privacy & Data Protection

We respect your privacy and handle all personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website.

13. Amendments to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
